Lace Frontal Wig Vs. Full Lace Wig

Lace Frontal Wig Vs. Full Lace Wig

Lace Frontal Wigs. Full Lace Wigs. What does all this mean? We know all the different types of wigs can be confusing but we are here to help break down the different types of wigs and how to choose the best one for you to slay in.
What is a Lace Frontal Wig?
A Lace Frontal Wig, which can also be called Front Lace Wig, is like a traditional wig except it has about 2 to 3 inches wide lace at the front and the lace goes from ear to ear. This lace can give the illusion of a natural hair line and front scalp. The lace must be cut at the front. The parting space on Lace Frontal Wigs can only be parted at the front of wig. This wig is not ideal for high ponytails at the back, but it is great for first time wig wearers.
What is a Full Lace Wig?

A Full Lace Wig has a thin layer of lace like the Lace Frontal Wig except it covers the entire wig and can be parted anywhere and styled in so many ways. It can be parted from the forehead to the nape, giving the appearance of hair growing from your own scalp! Full Lace Wigs are perfect for high ponytails, braids, and up dos.
Price
Full Lace Wigs are a little more expensive than its Front Lace sister but they do last longer.
Volume
If it’s volume (thickness) you are looking for, then the Lace Frontal Wig is for you. This is because the wefts at the back of a Lace Frontal Wig gives it more more hair. The Full Lace Wig has less volume because it is created using single knotted hair strands.
Lace Frontal Wigs are easy to wear and will be great if you are a first time wig wearer or just want simplicity it gives. If you are more advanced in wearing wigs or want to be daring, then the full lace is for you.
